I don’t feel better. There’s not really a mental reward for doing the work, it just feels like a never ending list of maintenance to keep my life from getting worse.
It’s because we don’t feel better, we feel tired. It’s an exhausting process, and we don’t get to feel reward chemicals from abstract tasks like that
