This is nice. More usage of open source projects is good. Maybe it’ll rub off, and eventually RISC-V will be usable for everyday applications as well.
The architecture aims to balance processing power and energy efficiency, thereby lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO).
And where are the performance and efficiency benchmarks?
They’re still cooking the numbers to make them look impressive but believable.
But even if they lie about it, it’s still a great development in the tech space. Having an alternative to X86 and ARM will be a net good, for sure.
