This is the first time I’ve read of fwupd having firmware that’s likely to be useful to individuals, rather than data centers. Nice!
My Framework laptop uses fwupd for all the firmware. I was pleasantly surprised when I plugged in my Logitech receiver and it told me there was an update for the receiver.
I’ve been using it very often for my systems. My Thinkpad and even my shitty desktop motherboard are supported.
