John Boyega says he would have kept Han Solo and Luke Skywalker alive if he produced the ‘Star Wars’ sequels, criticizing overpowered new characters.

Boyega is a true Star Wars fan, and they completely fucked his character’s story arc. I still have no idea what he was supposed to be about, and they teased so many awesome possibilities without doing any of them. I feel bad for the guy.

Good luck convincing Harrison Ford to be on board with it. From what I understand he always hated playing Han Solo. Didn’t he only accept to be in the sequels to the condition that they kill his character?

He wanted out as early as ESB. There’s also that whole scene about Han feeling like he won’t see the Falcon again in Return.

Getting him in first really was the only way he’d ever appear. Without a mountain load of cash I guess.

Anyone who knows how to write a good story and actually watched Star Wars would have kept both those characters in. Disney and that stupid producer, writer took it upon themselves to make a statement with the IP instead of making an actual movie with legit lore and appreciation.
