well the issue is much more complicated than a 300 word article could express it.
personally, i feel that the whole issue of sexuality (and it’s an incredibly big one) is incredibly misunderstood and misrepresented by modern society.
i think that in modern society, everything is commodified, and that includes human relationships. think about this: human relationships are becoming a product. you sign up on dating apps, then you date at a fancy restaurant (don’t mind the bill!) then you go to a movie or sign up for netflix at home …
essentially, capitalism is killing the people by killing one of their core needs: human relationships. wages are declining, and “non-essentials” get cut out from the budget, and human relationships are that. as a consequence, society loses relationships and falls apart. that prevents unions from forming; a capitalist’s dream.

I’ve never signed up for a dating site and I’ve had about 4 relationships by now. I’m 32 married.
I don’t think apps are killing it, I think people are killing it themselves by being chronically online.
