Fair but that still sucks

Might be permissions of whichever environment you’re running the sh in? Or potentially it wants that exact version, I’m only mildly competent at Linux at this point.

Right? It’s a huge bridge between x86 and ARM, it just opened up a potentially huge market for lower power consumption gaming devices. You could have like a Gameboy that runs silksong or something.

Yeah installed it a few days ago, super easy. It comes with a Linux/steam deck install guide.

Look up wheel slipping, I assure you they can do burnouts and the amount of power behind them is scary AF haha

Thanks, I’ll give it a look. It’s been really hard for me to find art books that actually give practical advise.
I typically do use rulers, but if you’re referring to the slight curve on the buildings here as they go up, I actually really like it. I know it might not be what you were going for, but it feels like what it feels like to be in an alley like this for me, sort of a fisheye effect that makes the top of the building look more closed in maybe.
Anyway, thanks again!

This looks great, what techniques for perspective did you use? I’m very amateur and have only really done 2 point perspective

Prefer my roguelite os, I can only install updates every time I nuke my system.

I don’t believe it is if you know what you’re doing, but not as easy on Linux.

Ditto this, 2007 was a fucking crazy year. All that next gen hit at once, people still taking risks on unique ideas. Nowadays you only see that kind of stuff from the indie scene, though they’ve been doing a great job with it IMO.
That really sucks dude. Nobody should feel like that.
It’s not helped me that much either, but it has at least given me a level of understanding, and a route to direct self compassion down. It’s a really slow process, and it’s not linear or steady, but it is something.

My partner has had a really bad time trying to run cronos. We thought it was initially Linux problems, it’s the first game on her new rig. Turns out the game just has those problems on windows

I remember reading they did port this to windows, using the same kind of process, but it was originally only on Linux because the forking process was so easily implemented.

I love it, but it’s getting treated as a shortcut to lighting when performance would be saved for most by a conventional lighting system. Ue5 is lousy with games that have half their frame rates taken up by a suboptimal implementation.
Honestly it feels like a technology that was designed with a future rig in mind, similar to how it was in the 2000s, but rendering technology doesn’t move that fast nowadays. I much prefer a strategy like NVIDIA did with physx back in the day, where it’s entirely possible to run with existing technology. Feels safer, more achievable.

Such a brain-dead stance on the matter. Nobody is asking for your garbage DRM servers, we literally want the opposite of that.

I’m gonna be that guy, most of them are in some way or another. The devs literally decided to not bother pressing the button that enables compatibility because they don’t feel like it.

Australia, yes we have regular Santa’s for the most part. Occasionally you’ll get Santa in shorts or whatever, but generally it’ll be the regular outfit. Santa coincidentally only shows up for a few minutes sometimes, then is called away on urgent business.

In Disco Elysium the game straight up called me out for apologising so much. It hit me so hard I stopped apologising as much irl. 10/10 game would be ashamed again.

Depends on the situation, but I’ve had a game work on bottles where it didn’t quite on steam. It’s slightly closer to running a full vm than proton alone is, and can help with dependencies in rare cases.
Possibly not, crysis is single thread bound due to it being a 32 bit application. You can technically run it as x64 but that’s cheating.
