After years of trying to get into Sekiro and hitting a wall and just quitting, I finally stuck with it and not only did I finish the game, I also got all the achievements.

I get so mad whenever I see a post hating on Reddit, but yet they are still there and making posts. Like wtf, Lemmy is great, a lot more people should’ve migrated here, but it’s like they like the abuse.
After 6 years, Sekiro finally clicked with me and I got all 4 endings for it within few weeks.

I would argue that Reddit has a lot more younger angsty teenage crowd, that’s why those types of comments are pretty common there. Lemmy at the moment doesn’t have that problem because I bet our demographic leans more towards late 20s and 30s.

I don’t like Activision as much as the next Lemmy user, but let’s not kid ourselves. CoD still sells a shitload every year somehow.

Dome Keeper

Monster Hunter Rise was great! But that was a switch port, so you might be right when it comes to something that’s a bit more graphic intensive like MH Wilds and Dragons Dogma.

Reminds me of Bravely Default, Bravely Second, Bravely default 2

Is RE engine considered bad? Other than this game, every other RE Engine game worked great for me.

Sekiro. This is my fourth time starting this game and this is the most it has clicked with me. Also playing Potionomics to balance it out.

To be clear, that’s exactly what I mean. I use Firefox, but I find the edge vs chrome debate amusing.

It blows my mind how many people use chrome over edge thinking that they are making super smart choice. I feel like I was still seeing memes on reddit making fun of Edge over Chrome.

It makes me sad that people like him get enough views and money to live off of

Arkham Knight, Witcher 3

I wish. I have noticed that I don’t see many Lenny endorsements anymore, I wonder if they remove those (I know my comment has been removed couple of times).

I saw this game last week at SGF and thought it might have potential, looks a little rough, but should be good by launch. Looks fun enough for the first time reveal. Little did I know that it was literally coming out in less than a week.

I never pre-order, and I am not advocating for pre-ordering, but just curious, can’t the item just be returned if the customer is not satisfied?

Looking at your use case, I would go with Asus. You would already have a decent library because of some Xbox Play Anywhere titles, plus there is also gamepass.

I’m not too worried about that, Elden Ring was a February game.
Most definitely. I’m currently going through some stuff, so my go-to games end up being puzzle games or something else that can be played in short bursts. Currently played “Is this seat take?”
