  • or end a relationship

Rather that relationship doesn’t even start, not because you insult someone (that happens, but you’re forgiven), not because you are not likeable (I thought I’m that for a long time, and lots of moments I am), but because you just don’t (despite being hit on by people amazingly beautiful and interesting and intelligent and sending electric shocks your way by simply texting you).

Though I guess someone giving you chances for over a year qualifies as a relationship which ends at some point. Just dysfunctional.

There is nothing good with ADHD.

It gives incentives to be a kinder person. You feel emotions connected to hurt\comfort more acutely than those connected to prestige, power, dominance. You dream far and swift. You don’t care about lying (EDIT: I meant that you don’t lie, not the opposite).

Any time I want to say what you said and recount all the suffering, I notice that I like it more than the alternative.

Also I still think it can be an equal exchange in a world more friendly to ADHD people.

EDIT: And it can be used against fear.

  • Ideologies aren’t about dogmatism, but about coherent groups of conclusions based on underlying analysis.

This sentence translates to choosing a model and then trying to hammer the reality to fit under it. Which is obviously dogmatism.

The funniest part is that leftist pseudointellectualism, where there is no actual discussion happening, but a leftist thinks there is because of the tone they use. Also hints at them acting this way in other situations, that is, being used to dogmatism.

Without dogmatism people change models like tools, each one for its own job. They don’t call themselves any kind of -ist.

It’s pretty telling that you out yourself as a Libertarian though, lmao.

Literally the opposite of what I’ve said, lmao. Reading comprehension skills on par with your self-identification.

  • Leftist ideologies include dogmatic statements. Just like all other ideologies. Otherwise we wouldn’t use the word “ideology” at all.

If this were true, you’d say that left ideas are the closest to your expectation of what’s best and that’d be fine, and not call yourself leftist. Now it’s as if you are putting ideology above practice.

Which would be the same as me always feeling as if I were lying while, say, saying that I’m a libertarian or a distributist, because I have no permanent attachment to any ideology, just these seem sane now. So I rarely say that and feel bad when I do.

Which efficient and not failing systems does your kind of leftists propose?

  • Leaving it open is a valid political position of making efficiency more important than ideology.

I don’t know which architectures may be invented in the future to work, I’m not against them coming from leftist premises, but I’ve met fewer leftists interested in even imagining them than libertarians or even conservatives.

When most leftists are too busy with hating on groups of people and thinking about what others own, it’s really hard to talk to them about anything real.

  • A decade ago I was already firmly away from playing games under Windows.

World of Tanks, SW:TOR (IIRC), Warcraft III TFT, SW: KotOR I and II, Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast, X-Wing Alliance, X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, Empire at War, older Paradox games and a few others ran fine for me under Wine. I’m not sure if I had Rome: Total War working back then (definitely ran Medieval II: Total War with a few heavy mods later), I think at some point RTW worked fine. Well, also Galactic Battlegrounds (again Star Wars) and the second Battlefront (again Star Wars). And Battle for Middle-Earth I and II (these are boring), and War of the Ring (that one was and is really good), and some little-known space station manager game from a Russian studio, and likely some other things. Ah, also Star Wars: Rebellion without tactical space battles (would crash on these).

It wasn’t a viable OS for gaming for adults, but for teens with interest in Linux - no problem at all.
