I have several Shields and while they’ve done the job, I too pine for an updated version. I’ve moved to a mini-pc/EndeavorOS in one or two rooms, but it isn’t quite the same. Using a mini keyboard/trackpad it is fine for me using youtoob or local media, but less friendly to general usage. The setup is not ideally suited for anything streamed either.
I might get it as a more beefy media center,.my nvidia shield is getting old and there are no real alternatives around.
