Take a look at the list of wars over the past few decades. Sure the US shows up and they are a problem but they are hardly alone in that. This is why I said everyone needs to refuse because with even a small number not refusing you can’t have peace.
You’re not wrong, it’s just that that statement historically doesn’t apply to the US. Very few US wars started because we were attacked.

There are a very small number of problem countries. Your statement implied otherwise.
