This must be some shit that happens out in the sticks. I have lived my whole life in a metropolitan city and have never heard of a child marriage. 🤷♂️
Yeah but some of the victims do wind up in cities like my ex (I met her in her 30s after she divorced the adult man who married her when she was a teenager)
I imagine that it is more common in rural areas with fewer eyeballs prying.
