I’m registered with lemmy.zip, but I commented on a post in lemmy.world and it won’t seem to show up in the post, although it does show up in my comments list. Do some instances(?) block comments from other instances? Or is this a sub(?) thing?

I’m a pretty new reddifugee and still trying to get the hang of this. Feel free to correct my terminology, please.

    Your comments show up for me, so yeah, might be your client. Check the web client for comparison.

      I closed the app and reopened it; it’s 100% the app. Thanks for helping me troubleshoot. For future reference, is the web client just lemmy.zip(for me, since that is the instance I signed up with)?

        The easiest is via the profile page of your home instance, but technically you can also use Lemmy.world or wherever the community lives.

          Thanks. I’ll have to play around with this on my computer later on today. Lemmy is a wonderful, albeit confusing at times, community.
