The one-time purchase was for iPhones too.
I never paid more than once for any iPhone I’ve ever had
What does that have to do with Plex dropping support for people that paid the one-time purchase?
If you paid the one-time purchase for a lifetime Plexpass, then Plex did not drop any support for you.
If you subscribed to a monthly pass, then you are beholden to the terms of that contract.
Do you think you’ve been mistreated by a choice you made willingly?
I’m not talking about the lifetime Plex pass or monthly pass.
If you paid the one-time purchase to unlock streaming to your device, Plex has stopped honouring that deal. You now either need to pay for a Remote Streaming Pass, or a Plex Pass.
False. My streaming still works.
Are you hallucinating?
… Because you bought a Plex Pass, which I specifically said is not what I’m talking about.
Are you dyslexic?
You’re the one claiming things that aren’t true
Maybe take a break from your hate session and touch some grass
Sorry man but it’s you who is misunderstanding.
Plex used to let you buy a “license” for a one-time fee which allowed you to stream to phones. You did not need a Plex Pass, lifetime or otherwise.
Recently, Plex announced that you no longer need to pay this one-time fee. However, you can no longer stream videos to your phone without Plex Pass. If you have Plex Pass, you are obviously unaffected
This basically invalidated the paid licenses of anyone not paying for Plex Pass.
That is what they’re talking about.
