Yeah, because they all got crushed after their democratically elected leaders got removed and often killed or imprisoned during the entire Cold War. I’m sorry but this annoys the shit out of me when people in white imperialist countries say this shit. Leftists have won elections in so many countries but the Americanized idea that you can’t be left of liberal if you want to win elections in a moronic party system that has only been imposed and perpetuated by THIS EXACT LINE OF THINKING is frustrating as fuck for those of us who don’t live there.

Winning elections by itself doesn’t defeat fascism. Most of the countries that won by elections during the Cold War had their leaders deposed and had fascists installed because they were helpful to US interests. That is the entire point of this post. Just voting doesnt do fuck all to stop fascism.
