I gave up on my original (previous post) because it was just too small for the task. I started a new larger version with a more traditional Mucha framing. Penciled in some key elements, went over to a smaller one to work out a line style that would be truer to Mucha and work with the three tropical designs that would be the focus.
I haven’t worked out what I’ll be doing with the framing yet or background yet. But at least it’s all starting to take place.
Pineapples are hard. I’ve drawn the segments about 20 different ways trying to get it right for this style.
So far it is all be Micron 01, 08 and after I get all the designs in I’ll outline the outer most edge with a 10 to match that Mucha style. Which I think I originally noticed in the work of Mike Allred (comic book guy).

This is beautiful, keep it up!
