You’re welcome! I’m glad you’re feeling better. When it happened to me, the thing that haunted me was the smell, and I was very anxious for a few decades about having to perform the activity that caused it, but I couldn’t avoid it and eventually got over myself.
Trauma from things like this is normal. How long ago did it happen to you?
When I talked to the staff in the burn unit they got pressure cooker injuries all the time which is wild to me. They even had a whole form I had to fill out both times I went in which was all about identifying how much trauma I was experiencing.
Ouch, burn care was a lot different then. I can only imagine how it hurt. I know the first few days after mine I didn’t think I could do it. Caring for the wounds hurt so much.
I can remember that it was extremely painful and that blisters were coming a few days after the initial burn, but I don’t remember the exact pain., thankfully. And I remember the family that was there for me as I healed. You’ll be tender for a bit; but I daresay you will remember your wife’s support long after your new skin is not tender. I’m glad you have good support and a good attitude. That’s key to healing.

Without a doubt, my wife is the best! She’s my favorite and I tell her that all the time.
It’s amazing being married to my best friend.
This warms my heart so much. Thank you. My best to you and your family. ❤️
And to you and yours!!
Thank you! 😊
