I haven’t had any time to learn this week, but I did try to watch news in my target language. Understood 20% for sure and the rest, well not so sure about the rest.
Also: sorry for not replying to your messages lately in weekly threads. I read them all, but get caught up with holiday stuff before I can properly write an answer.
Honestly, poorly! Trying to learn a language that I don’t particularly like, with the sole motivation that it would let me get citizenship of the country I live in. Sadly I don’t need said citizenship, can function in my job using my native language, and actually need to speak said native language at home to help my son learn it. Meh, there it is, maybe another decade of passive immersion will get me there if it’s still necessary! Good luck to all you motivated folks in 2026, I envy you! :)
