the way my Logitech BRIO 4K webcam is perched atop my Dell G3223Q monitor has irked me for too long!

so i whipped up a little adapter piece in OpenSCAD

I love specific prints like this haha, I’ve been meaning to do something similar with my LG monitor, the rounded part on the back makes it a pain to rest the webcam in the center, so I have mine slightly to the side.

ah yes, I have a similar issue on my spouse’s computer

I’m still contemplating something that fits within my design skills for that, haha

    Hey, nice fix.

Only thing I’d look at is maybe adding a slope to the little protruding rectangle, so the model can be printed on its front/ back side without supports or losing quality on the first few layers of the notch. Based on the complete photo, it looks like only the lower side of the rectangle that’s resting on the monitor needs to be there, you can make that a small angled lip instead of the block.

yeah, I did print it face down with grid supports

oh, yes! if there was a 45 degree transition between those 2 faces, instead of 90 degrees, it probably wouldn’t need supports at all
