I used Finch for a while but it’s just TOO MUCH.

I don’t want fomo or gamification, but I do want to track a variety of habits. Is there a middle ground between bare bone habit tracking apps and Finch? I use android.

I saw one that is kind of like Forest, but for habits but it had like a $5/month subscription. I like the idea of seeing progress/consistency but am stubborn about subscriptions. I don’t mind paying one time for an app (preferably after getting to try a lite version, not a free trial) or ads. I have the paid version of routine flow but the developers tracker app doesn’t work on my device (“made for an older version of Android”).

Am I asking too much? And aps you like that you could share?

I’m pretty sure you can disable various types of notifications (if not in-app, then in the android app notification settings). you can disable the notification for losing a streak, and disable it telling you how long your streak is after making an entry, both by tapping the three dots icon on the “days in a row” box on the Stats page. but I don’t think you can fully disable streaks from displaying everywhere but I never notice it, with those two options unchecked.
