That’s indeed where they’re headed. I was just clarifying what the service was. I wouldn’t pay for the service. I buy/play what I can run. When I do buy a game, I try to move toward non DRM titles, if I do buy a drm title and there’s a stripped version, i’ll always tuck it away in case steam ever loses their mind.

Yeah the cap they introduced is damning. They just cut it back a touch… Oh, if you want to play a lot, you have to pay just a little bit more. It wasn’t enough to make them bank or pay for 15 more hours of server costs; it was a toe in the water to gauge the community’s appetite to pay more for less.
But we all know it’s going to get shit as soon as it reaches enough users, right?
We understand that not owning anything will lead to more exploitation, yes?
