With all due respect… Fuck you. You’re (all of you, not just you specifically) pointing fingers and shifting blames and it’s always not the guy you voted for, and it always “is what it is” and you can never do anything about it. Are you the suverein or are you not? It’s “I the president”? Or “we the people”? You are not a victims here. You’re not even anabler. You are acomplice. You allowed this. You made this. If you didn’t want it, why it happens over and over again? We are done with your United States of Virtue-Signaling and your excuses.

You’re not entirely wrong, but there are people here who have had us marines pointing rifles at them in the past 6 months, and thought seriously about ‘how do I defend my home from them’ with the expectation they’ll be back in summer. Have thought daily about fighting the municipal paramilitaries for their entire adult lives, have woken up in tents to the sound of their dogs and had to run. Just not enough of them.

Like, it’s not a democracy over here.

Well, yes. I agree. But “it’s not a Rule of Law country anymore, we are oppressed and dont know what to do” is a very different sentiment than “system is wotming, I can only complain that people always vote on bad guys somehow”. I sypathise with the first one. I can’t stand 2nd one any more.

I could say the same of the rise of far-right extremism all over the world. If you don’t want it, why does it happen over and over again?

And you should. Either the nation is resposible, or it’s not a democracy. You either are the suverein, or you are not. There is no middle way.

Are you oppressed.and should someone capture your president in the name of your freedom? Or are you an oppressor benefiting form the system you don’t actively opose?

It’s not like it happened once and you corrected. It’s literally the theme. Whatever you do, it’s not enough.
