“A computer can never be held accountable, therefore a computer must never make a management decision.”

    – IBM Training Manual, 1979

    We’re going so backwards…

No no no, you see, this personhood will give the corporations amnesty from responsibility and if an AI does any of those things, the profits of the company cant go to paying out damages.

And then they can restart the AI and call it a new day .new profits.

Im so glad AI and corporations got rights and personhood before anything important, like the environment and animals. We can live without those things, but we cant live without profits and corporations… /s

Rights don’t mean you get punished if you do something wrong.

They already got everyone to agree (the collective, not individual) that property has rights and it’s equivalent to violence to so much as burn a trash can.

So, obviously, you wouldn’t think about committing violence against corporate property would you, citizen?
