    If the post had said “do you oppose colonialism?” I of course would have said yes.

        Furthermore, it should not be surprising to you that leftists would be interested in opposition to colonialism in general. Groups in the imperial periphery don’t have to be “leftist” to do good work opposing colonialism which leftists should acknowledge and support.
