It’s not really a bad deal if you bought a cheap computer (or like, a base Mac) and you have low enough latency. Also, you have to own the games on Steam. They’re only renting the hardware to you, not the games. And, it gets “better,” they don’t support all your games.
Sucks for people who paid thousands for a top-end PC and are riding the upgrade train. I’ve been there. It was fun 20 years ago.
