I tried watching Ice Cube’s War of the Worlds. It was painfully bad. It pretty much takes place from the perspective of a government watchdog sitting behind a computer, switching between Facebook and Zoom/FaceTime calls, tracking every single movement of everyone. If it got better, I wouldn’t know. I had to turn it off. Those sound effects for the online calls were triggering me and it was simply annoying way to narrate a movie.
