Yeah, the world has returned to the mindset of The Jungle. Nobody likes might makes right except for those currently possessing the might.

Well we’re actively regressing on social progress whilst literally torching the future. Then throw in the damage 40 years of neoliberalism has done to people’s earnings and safety nets.

The youngest are watching huge swaths millennials look at the cost of traditional life milestones such as a house and kids, and they’re seeing them choose not to do those things simply because they’ll never be able to justify the cost. Then they’re told/observe that it’s probably going to be even worse for them.

Is literally anyone surprised by this?

Boomers sucked all the air out of the room 40 years ago, setting the stage for this shuffling zombie existence.

Millennials hit adulthood just as the music stopped and have been scrambling in the ruins of yesteryear, while Boomers continued to berate and gaslight them for 20 years.

Zoomers don’t even get the false promises and propaganda of the 90s to push them along; they’re already burned out from day one.
