Today is election day in South Korea and it’s a special one for our family because my wife was able to vote for the first time here in Korea after getting her Korean citizenship last year.

Awww, that’s so sweet, but also important!

A leisurely stroll to the local school on a voting Sunday is indeed tradition in Germany. It’s always nice to see some of your family, friends and neighbors there, have a chat and walk in to do your citizens duty.

I never had the experience of being unable to vote but it must feel very empowering to somebody who didn’t have any influence on their country before. :) Congratulations to your wife!
