The first 6-12 months here (during/right after the Reddit API drama) were great. After that…not so much.

        I don’t care if I’m wanted or not. I care if a large portion of the fediverse sees fit to censor opinions based on their feelings. Fine if you’re moderator on a community based around something that doesn’t fit your views but it shouldn’t work the same for the entire instance. And it’s only really an issue because lemmy.world It’s like 90% of the fediverse. If it worked like it was originally designed, there wouldn’t be massive controlling interests like Lemmy.world.
