Christopher Nolan is an extremely popular director known for utilizing IMAX 70mm, so his movies tend to sell out in this format a lot. As we get closer to the release date, I’m certain they’ll add more showtimes, this marketing stunt is to prove the viability of creating and distributing IMAX 70mm prints.
