I’ve realized recently that seemingly the only time I’ve ever been locked in, at least professionally, has been broadcasting. Put me in a control room, get that countdown going and that red light on and I am locked in. Too bad those schedules don’t work well with a family. Also, both times I was directing regularly I started developing ulcers.
