Little practice object I made in Maya, textured in Substance, and then rendered in Blender with Cycles!

    The texturing is stunning! The model looks a bit too sharp (no pun intended) for my taste, maybe increase the bevelling slightly on the yellow bits and maybe introduce some noise along the length. Since the textures show wear and use, it’s natural for the handle to reflect the same.

      Thanks for the feedback! Indeed, the bevelling was probably one of the biggest pains in the arse about this project. There was an earlier version I had to scrap entirely because I just couldn’t get it to work how I wanted.
