I hope Denis can keep it concise and episodic. I want just a dumb, fun, action movie with cool gadgets and a charming spy with Villanueva’s visual touches. I don’t think we need the grand scope he is generally admired for.
I am really interested in this. Bond is for the tweeters. Thing is Villeneuve has all the right resume entries to make this really good.
Agreed Villeneuve made showed me with dune. He respects the intelligence of his audience and has deep understanding of visual storytelling.
Same with Sicario and you could really see the difference between the first when he was inovolved and the second when he was not.
