    This feels a bit like an orphan crushing machine.

    None of this would be happening if the government just funded Public Access properly. They shouldn’t have to resort to selling stuff just to remain on the air.

      What do you mean? PBS and NPR have done fundraising drives regularly since inception.

      Yes, their situation is worse off now than before because of the current government admin, but to imply they have never needed to ask for money or raise funds is to ignore reality.
