Because people are much more likely to go and watch a thing they’ve heard of with bad reviews than they are something with good reviews that they’ve never heard of.
We don’t. We got two good movies from the franchise, which is about all I can hope for. We got two good Star Wars’. We got two good Blade Runners. We even got two good Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’. We got only one good Terminator but that was the second one so persistence can produce results, I guess. I’m not against anyone trying again, but my expectations for a new enjoyable Alien are admittedly rather low.
I did. It’s not bad. It was on TV a while ago and I sat through the whole thing. I just never feel like it needs revisiting. Judgement Day is such an improvement in every way. Can I say one and a half good Terminators?

I ask myself this about every movie sequel. There are too many superhero movies damn it
