I played it for like an hour. It’s slow and not particularly satisfying for me. Not sure I will return.

It’s a four hour or so game for 30€. I’ll get Psychonauts 2 first at 75% off, call me in three years about this one.

I didn’t get this because it’s not Steam Deck verified on launch and it does not support ultrawide resolutions out of the box.

You can do better Double Fine.

had not even heard of this game. Looks pretty cool, but according to PCGamingWiki it’s UE5… If the stuttery-options can be turned off, it’s probably entirely non-issue.

While I do subscribe to the “quality hours over quantity hours” for game length, 30€ still sounds a bit steep.

    Oh well, wishlisted for now.

The reviews for this game seem to be mostly positive (albeit it does seem like a short game). Surprised they have a mere 200 CCUs considering that DoubleFine is relatively well known.

has a rather respectable 78 on Metacritic based on 42 reviews

The obsession of “gamers” with ratings is ridiculous. According to the conclusions, reviewers don’t want to give stellar reviews because it’s a short game with light puzzle gameplay. Fuck that. The Last Campfire is also short with some light puzzles and is one of the best games I’ve played in the last years. The impact of an experience can’t be cast into an oversimplified number range that pretends to be objective, but is always 100% subjective.
