Guessing this is a no, but I can’t really find a straight answer.

I’m still rocking my AMD FX 8350. I am very surprised it does as well as it does since it’s from 2013. I slapped in a RX 6800 and it plays all my games just fine now (had an rx 580 before, total poo). Newest games I play are CS2, LoU 2, ARC Raiders even ran great.

My question is, is the architecture of the FX just too old to even launch AW 2? I’ve been holding off upgrading since it means all new mobo, ram, and CPU at once.

The cpu is below min specs but not by a crazy amount performance-wise, maybe “demo” it before you buy, not many people using that cpu these days.

I used to have one though too :) broke several pins on it and I decided to upgrade to Ryzen lol

Yeah it does not seem like it will work. Im not totally sure if the issue is linux or the cpu but im more guessing cpu as every other game works great

I mean nvidia’s 1080 ti can barely run it due to lack of mesh shader hardware, and any card below it of the same generation can’t reach a stable 30 fps. I wouldn’t hold my breath
