What the fuck was this mess…? I am completely at a loss on what to say. I can’t stand bitching about RT scores , how the fuck does this have 88%? How the hell did basically 9 out of ten reviewers say it was fresh?
Unbelievably terrible acting and an even more terrible storyline, the whole thing just had no overall direction.
The film opens up with really terrible clips of medieval men fighting with odd music and sound bites. I had zero idea what the connection was. However, at first the movie did show some promise.
From then on, total disappointment. Apparently, covering yourself up with iodine makes the infected leave you alone; it goes nowhere with that. The Doctor seems to have had an endless supply of iodine and morphine but it doesn’t always make them leave you alone.
I am not sure what is more baffling about the alpha zombies that they are built like someone who eats 8000 calories a day, that they are smart and fast or that they really have no point in the movie, apart from showing their massive cocks.
On a side note apparently eating nothing but worms will make you really fat.
The huge piles of bones and skulls…why? Oh I get it he is insane but he can diagnose lymphoma by feeling up her tits.
No back story with the baby being born normal but it did provide a really stupid scene and a bonus comically predictable silly scene.
And… then… there was the guys at the end …
What in the fuck?
jumpsuits
British teeth
power rangers
Set to what was the music?

I thought it was incredible. Really looking forward to the next (hopefully) two.
What was the incredible part?
Me too! I absolutely fucking loved it. It has faults and I understand why people didn’t like it but I can not WAIT for the next one. The scene with the mum in the temple is one of the greatest cinematic scenes I’ve ever seen
Same, perfect start to a new trilogy rather than the bookend to what people think is the orginal trilogy but isn’t.
I’m pretty sure Garland and Boyle hate the second one and don’t count it, it was awful without the involvement. They signed away the rights to the sequel for more control over the first one.
