Weird. I’ve been using the main newpipe branch on fdroid for about a year. It crashes out sometimes after I’ve been watching for awhile but a force stop usually fixes it. Or YouTube will change an api and it needs updated. I guess that itself is a no-go for a lot of users though 😢
