I don’t have the slightest clue what anybody expected in a redesign. They’ve kinda got a winning formula for what they’re trying to accomplish with the device, the sequel probably wasn’t going to look all that different.

Has a distro ever gone under purely because of competition?

I mean, my distro’s technically an Ubuntu variant, but I honestly don’t think that’s ever come up in any meaningful way.

That is a hell of a moral question that I don’t think I or anybody else can answer for another individual.

Edit: I have no idea one direction or the other but I assume you asked this as it’s something that’s come up. If so I feel for you, genuinely, I cannot comprehend the pain such a situation would mount on an individual and the weight such a decision would have.

Yeah I’ve got plenty of issues but I manage to not be a dick, kinda feels like those are separate categories as far as the whole mental space goes.
