If people are willing to kill firefox over some stupid features the can be opt-out, then you are cutting your nose to spite your face (and hand it over to google/chrome)

Thanks. It wasnt a proton issue. The game runs OK randomly if the rockstar launcher signs in properly. Otherwise it just stalls and the rockstar launcher throws an error saying the game is already running

The reason i run ad blocking at every level isnt to show that i’m too smart for marketing…
It’s because ads work on me… my brain rejects certain ads for sure, and it says “psssshhh, how can people be dumb enough to buy that shit???”… but that doesnt mean i’m too smart for advertising and that it doesnt affect my brain in subtle other ways.

None of these are a good replacement for nova.
I’ve been using android since 2007. Nova allowed me to stick with the old school UI paradigm of dock and app drawer… nova was so good, that i set up my homescreen in 2013 and basically never touched the settings again until i migrated a new phone…
All these new launchers break my 20 yr old workflow… i dont like the “everything is a search bar” thing
