Whelp, I know who to call traitors.tl the free world: anyone who takes the bait here. Not saying America is the better option currently, but definitely a lot better than the “There’s No Genocide In Xinjiang Despite An Independent Tribunal Saying There Is!” China team.

I don’t listen to non-Weird Al parody songs anymore and haven’t since late middle school to early highschool, so I got none in my head anymore.
Played the game Me And My Shadow. It’s an abandonware open source 2D puzzle platformer for windows that apparently was last updated in 2021, with source package last updated 2 years prior according to the last github nightly build release. Repo was archived January of this year. Not really a cool and exciting game at all compared to other open source games like Mindustry or SuperTuxKart or SRB2.
Just for some of the quality of life features included, Sonic Mega Collection Plus. The gamecube version may have been my first foray into classic Sonic, but eh PS2 is in my opinion the better version if you’re a more casual player like me because savestates.
Also, I need to get onto actually playing them, but I recently got all 3 of the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger games on PS2. I played enough on Dolphin that I knew I had to pick it up on PS2 (since I don’t have a gamecube). From the couple levels I played in the first game, definitely a fun game and one I personally have enjoyed.
Also, big shout-out to the only Star Wars Battlefront games I acknowledge existing.
At some point I need to get back to Deadlocked. I didn’t get super far in, but definitely a fun entry in the series in my opinion.

If we’re talking strictly design, my personal favorite is a generic fat PS2, probably tied with my model 1(?) Sega Genesis (none of the things like 32x or CD, which I desperately want to get some day).
If we’re talking like PC with OS, the 90s Amiga lineup because I think the Amiga Workbench 3 line and the icons they used look absolutely beautiful. Definitely would love to get my hands on a 1200, but they’re expensive. So no getting into that hobby for me just yet.
If I could reach through my phone screen, I’d definitely let you borrow my game genie just to complete that lock on power tower.

Technically not since they were married, were renting small house, and had at least one kid by the time they were my age. I’m still in college.
Considering EA is known for making sports games clones of each other that only change the year in the title and people still buy it, I wouldn’t be shocked if nothing comes out of this.
The Star Wars Battlefront games. With how horribly the liver service EA version that came out in 2015 was and how dead it apparently is, the PS2 games are the only ones I’ll ever acknowledge as existing.
Also, one of my personal favorites that I’d consider a must have is Dokopon Kingdom. Yes the remake/remaster exists, but I don’t normally go for remasters in most situations. Gameplay is just roll a spinner, move on board, and adventure around the world while trying to do quests if you are in the story mode.
Both games have a lot of content and replayability in my eyes, which makes a game more of a must have for me.

Hot Wheels: Beat That! Looked it up because I couldn’t remember the name, but that’s a racing game with a good amount of replayability and isn’t as short as something like Cartoon Network Racing. Didn’t realize it came out on various other consoles and PC, but can definitely recommend on at least PS2 (how I ended up playing it).
It would be a bad use of it, but probably pick a random road online and pick a random volcano. Whoever gets unlucky and doesn’t notice the nightmare portal in the ground gets a free trip to the base of a volcano at no cost. Would obviously need the portal to be in a location where you cannot just easily return from, though. Gonna turn a random volcano and random street into quite the tourist attraction for no reason.
Being in a basement, on a couch, playing Sonic Mega Collection on a CRT TV while also being able to pause and switch from AVI to DVR using the button on the TV to catch my favorite cartoons.
I spent a lot of time playing that game growing up, but I’d say doin what I described above was pretty peak for me back then, before middle or high school (couldn’t tell you which grade, though). Probably summer, not much to do, could switch between Sonic 3D Blast and what I think was a marathon on Cartoon Network, back when I used to be so much more into the pokemon anime, during the diamond and pearl era. I do remember a single fragment of an episode, with that aura guy with the blue hat and cape and his lucario.
Was gonna ask what’s wrong with Systemd but decided to look it up and I now see why, at least from what I was reading.
My personal top pick (due to lack of playing psx in a long time) is Devil Dice (also known as XI in Japan if I remember correctly). I personally just play the arcade mode, though, since the other modes aren’t as fun in my opinion.
Definitely depends on the site because I’ve seen some impressive modern looking sites in the past, but a lot of sites I find on there definitely encapsulate that vibe in a great way.
Last time I went down the stairs at my apartment complex. Accidentally started going down on the wrong foot and wouldn’t land on the correct foot when I got off the stairs, so I jumped the last couple. Long story short, in my case it’s an autism thing more than any actual issue, so that is why I jumped.
Don’t know quite how things would work out, but definitely domesticat the North American beaver because they’re one of the coolest animals and you can’t convince me otherwise.
Only other alternatives I know are either Safari if you’re on an apple device or something like Links/Links2/Lynx if you don’t mind text based browsers. Neither are convenient for their own reasons, but it’s not like we have any other choices. At least not that I’m aware of.
