While i applaud the effort, i don’t think this video achieves its goal. It’s really long, goes into a tonnnnnn of totally unnecessary very techie details, and doesn’t even start talking about Linux until some random point near the middle.

Different people have different tastes. It could be genetic, it could be a bad association that built up in your formative years, or whatever.

I just looked it up and I’m fairly certain it wouldn’t work. Every time the output waveform gets too low then the led would turn off, which is what creates the flicker. An led needs a constant current to stay on constantly.
