Disappearing drives? Mine has been doing this shit randomly on boot since day 0. Boot up, sometimes it’ll boot to OS and storage drive will be missing…other times it dumps me straight to UEFI because boot drive is missing. These aren’t partitions either…whole ass, physical drives.

Kind of depends on how you want to access it, and how you want others to access it.

I built my new rig last fall as well… writing was 100% on the wall. A lot of improvements around here got bumped due to tarrifs… so far, every one was the correct play.

Very seldom is anything dialed in right out of the box. No copium in my book, getting the game perfect is the whole point of pc gaming.
