They definitely hadn’t thought his motivation through by the time of Guardians of the Galaxy, where it’s stated that Ronan killed all of Drax’s people for him.

Cool, a Dead-Internet-Browser, right on time for Halloween. Spooky!

I don’t trust anything coming out of Elon’s fascisthole. Deleted the app when he bought it and never looked back.

Germans did that. The German state or rather its conservative government killed the solar industry when it was blooming in the country, handing the advantage to the Chinese.

Tolino Cloud. It’s a cloud service founded by German book publishers and the German Telekom.

They have fallen so far. I have started to order books elsewhere because they can’t even do that anymore, the business they started with!

Also, the nazis ruled for six years, in what some people still consider a golden age (it wasn’t), before starting a world war.
There is even a chapter of one of the two expansions where Jessie returns, in a prequel of sorts to Control.
Alan Wake 2 is the direct sequel to both Alan Wake and Control so you should definitely get it if you liked Control. There is also a Control-centric expansion for AW2 just as there was an Alan Wake expansion for Control.
I recently played through both Alan Wakes and Control with all the expansions and it’s an AWEsome experience on par with playing through the Mass Efect trilogy IMO.

Also, thanks to the practice of broadcast syndication, new series were often given at last 3-4 seasons to run even if the ratings weren’t great at first since it was more profitable to get the series to around 80 to 100 episodes then to cancel it early.

If you’re strictly speaking about how many hours of playtime you will get out of it, than BG3. Both games are awesome though (in totally different ways).

Watch the movie Gattaca, there’s your answer. Basically a two-class society between richt edited people and poor natural-born people who would be even more disadvantaged.

Peter Cushing as Tarkin too. Though he wasn’t mainly known as The Doctor of course.

Doesn’t help that its dialogue is so boring, its most well known quote is literally just “I see you”.

Not many, all of them.

Which was very likely inspired by scientific accounts of the physical effects of radiation that Lovecraft had read.

Well, first of all, apparently this Superman, while still being the strongest hero, is pretty nerfed compared to his comic version.
Secondly, you have the same problem with the MCU. Why didn’t the Eternals intervene against Thanos? Why wasn’t Captain Marvel called when Loki attacked New York with a Chitauri army? Why did Hawkeye and Black Widow not immediately get Iron Man armours when joining the Avengers? And so on. The answer is of course, it’s a comic book movie. Don’t overthink it.

Totally agree, but unfortunately we do have them and it’s nice when some are not raging assholes.
Ok, but there had been plenty of criticism before that, specifically how readily the algorithm funnels the user into alt-right echo chambers.
I also play Rise right now, this game holds up incredibly well graphically for a ten year old game (the first one slightly less so).
