  • In a apples and oranges sort of way yes the same number size can mean a difference that large. What I mean is your size in say athletic type shoes might be different than the same number size of espedrille or stiletto. It seems the seller is trying to have one number represent several dimensions which doesn’t really help anything since it still means the bigger the number the bigger the shoe.

And yes absolutely those can be stretched. The tool we use is a vaguely foot shaped form usually made of wood with a large screw that when cranked down will separate the sections of the form to increase the volume it takes up. After I’ve put the shoe under tension I’ll wet the shoe down with a solution that allows the leather to become more pliable without staining anything. If you just need that one strap to give a bit more than it shouldn’t be too much of a problem but if its the wrong size it going to stay the wrong size no matter what you do.

  • Kids are smarter than anyone gives them credit for and even studies prove that two happy divorced or otherwise separated parents are better than an unhappy couple. Not saying its going to be easy or that I know all the context but its worth thinking about what you’re teaching to your kids staying unhappy for the sake of a broken relationship with their mother. And for what its worth an internet stranger is sending e-hugs and his best wishes

  • A narcissist sees the rest of the world as inferior to them their perception of reality is all derivative of this opinion. When confronted with objective reality disputing that they don’t just react to the singular confrontation. Because their psuedo superiority underlines everything they think about any evidence they are wrong begins to dismantle every opinion they have. Now being forced to consider the entire way they perceive reality is flawed its easier to get angry and confrontational instead of reevaluating their worldview

  • First off is taking some of my meals as a liquid, Protein powder plus iced coffee has been doing wonders for me in the morning and it takes seconds to assemble. The other one is made a deal with my roommate that I’d cook dinner most nights if I never had to mow the lawn so the subtle pressure of not just needing to feed myself helps as well.

Another thing is you can’t let perfect be the enemy of good. Some days if its calories that isn’t pure sugar then I count that as a win and promise to try to do better tomorrow. I still skip meals on the regular to the point that my name has become a verb to describe the phenomenon but we do our best right?
