That is my observation too. Money is no longer the end goal, it’s now the means for unlimited power play with the general society.
Oh that’s awesome
That’s good to know! Is Pulsemeeter compatible with the VBAN protocol and is there something like Equalizer APO that lets me do filtering and channel copying post mix? Those are the features I’m heavily relying on.
I tried Synergy before but unfortunately it couldn’t handle my EurKey keyboard layout. MWB is so far the only software that works reliably for me.
Voicemeeter allows me to send the audio streams of my computers to each other so my work PC and private PC can just use the same mic and play from my speakers/headphones without having to change any plugs.
This is complemented by sharing my mouse and keyboard via Mouse without Borders. It’s also integrated into Power Toys but I had some issues with that version, so I’m sticking to the standalone one for now.

Or don’t post US-centric stuff in global communities.

Yeah so something local to them, should’ve been mentioned in the post, or even better posted in a US community.

I have no idea what that is, must be something local to you.

No they won’t, because I’m not stupid enough to buy a ridiculously overpriced fridge.

I mean, sure, but that’s also against the rules and defeats the whole purpose. Just get a hosted seedbox at that point, the small ones are not very expensive.

That won’t work, private trackers require you to seed every torrent you download for at least a few days, some for weeks. Not following that rule will lead to hit and runs regardless of ratio.

As SNES heavily relies on low resolution pixel art you’ll probably want simple nearest neighbor scaling anyways. Lossless scaling really shines on higher resolution games which don’t have any builtin scaling tech or only old algorithms.

The article is offering a strong opinion, which might be just because you get more engagement that way. I’m not offended by that, it’s just how the internet and media in general works.
The thoughts about approaching syntax highlighting differently do intrigue me. I’m definitely playing around with my color theme in the coming days to see if something different suits me better.

The release window for Arc Raiders could not be worse. Right between Battlefield 6 and Tarkov 1.0. Also a few weeks ago Arena Breakout Infinite released, which is also a very competent extraction shooter, that I had lots of fun with before Bf6.
This activity is a good sign for Arc Raiders, however it’s only a free playtest while the full release will cost 40€. How many of those players enjoying it now will actually cough up this much money for a game in a genre with many failed games before it? Dark and Darker was hugely popular during its last playtest and rapidly declined after the paid (Early Access) release.
I hope that they’re successful with Arc Raiders. I think the extraction genre is super interesting and needs more healthy choices that are not Tarkov (which has so many problems of its own).
It is art, but you don’t understand it yet.
Because that’s the vision of the designer, why do you bother so much? Just play it and try to understand what it’s about.
Binding of Isaac, Expedition 33, Dwarf Fortress, Caves of Qud, Abiotic Factor, Tokyo Xtreme Racer, Celeste, Terraria, Peak, Art of Rally, Balatro, Outer Wilds, Satisfactory, The Talos Principle, Redout, Grim Dawn…
These are just a few amazing games but such a list has little value in my opinion, which is why I didn’t name any in the first place. If you go into some more detail about what games you enjoy and why, people might give you more direct recommendations. Generally just start looking at more games on Steam and you’ll find something interesting.
Steam has long supported game transfer via local network. You just need to have both machines on the same network and turned on with one having the game installed already. When you start the download on the other device, it’ll copy the files locally.
