Oddly enough this is the game I was trying to get to work a handful of years ago when I last gave N64 emulation a shot so I could play it with a friend. Ended up realizing the N64 emulation scene just wasn’t there yet. Guess it’s time to give it another go.

The guy illegally attempted to overturn an election. Spread a deadly lie about our institutions that incited an insurrection. Stole classified documents and refused to return them when asked. Stated he trusted Russian intelligence over U.S. intelligence on live television.

The man is quite literally a traitor to the United States of America.

And, as a nation, we decided that not only was it not a big enough deal to do anything about, but that we should totally let him be president again.

No one should be surprised about this, or any of the insane shit we’ll be hearing over the next 4 years.

Welcome to the new normal. It’s going to be bad. And it’s going to get worse. And it’ll probably continue after Trump is gone because that’s what happens when this kind of stuff gets normalized.

America is failing, and this is probably just the beginning.

Popped my Diddy Kong Racing in about 6 months ago to see how it held up.

It doesn’t.

The gameplay in Mario Kart is way better. The racing in DKR feels clunky. I realized the main reason I liked DKR back in the day was because it had a single player campaign and a lot of secrets to find. I still respect it for those qualities, but it is not a better racing game than Mario Kart.

In the past you had to actually be smart to be a “tech bro”. The barrier of entry was higher.

Now any dipshit can get online and start being a “tech bro”.

It’s basically the same as the enshitification of the internet. Used to take some effort to get online. Now any dipshit can do it.
