The founder did an interview on Gardiner Bryant’s youtube channel either yesterday or the day before where he clarified that statement. The short version is not to worry about that possibility any time soon.

That’s where I’m a little conflicted. It has basically become youtube drama and just an excuse for people to dunk on PS for yet another thing (deserved btw, I just think it distracts from SKG), but at the same time, it has reignited awareness. I think it might have better served him to have done it sooner.

Also, I would just like to see someone that isn’t from the US, UK, or Canada put their voice behind this EU initiative.

Just saying that maybe people should focus less on the person they claim to not give a shit about and find a way to drum up more support for SKG instead.

In the comments of every single post and video about the initiative. More people seem to be bent out of shape about whatever the fuck he did in WoW recently than SKG and are piggybacking on the drama to further dump hate on this one guy.

Everyone is too busy getting in their “Pirate Software bad” to actually give a shit about the Initiative.

Can anyone name someone of consequence from the EU that has talked about SGK? I genuinely want to know. SKG is a good thing that seemingly only people in the US and Canada seem to care to rally their audiences for.

I see more people talking about this in the Stop Killing Games discourse than SKG itself, maybe that’s why its failing.

Completely agree, I also noticed that every single notable person I see talking about this is from the US or Canada. I also get the impression that the EU simply doesn’t care enough.

Back when I was a military child, we lived near a runway for the jets to practice on. Pretty constant jet noise, loud enough to shake the whole house, on days that they used it.

I was able to sleep through that after a couple months, but now? I have to run a fan at max speed with my door closed so one of the other people walking normally across the house doesn’t wake me up.

I’ve had a little weirdness from my 8bitdo “xbox” controller, but I think that might be more due to dual booting and using the controller on both OSes rather than an issue with linux itself.

But once I get it connected, it works perfectly.

No one has more problems on windows than a linux-first user.

Every thread like this has people that can’t seem to get windows to do the bare minimum, but I have yet to have a single hiccup in months. I don’t get it. This isn’t even a “linux bad” comment, I dual boot and enjoy my linux install as well, the only “problems” I have on there are from being new to linux.
