Just check under homework.
Cognitive load is a thing. I do that sometimes.
Being able to acknowledge you did something wrong is a good first step. The next step would be to try to make it right as much as possible. Most people will likely have forgotten all about it though, unless you were a particularly egregious asshole. If you feel you wronged someone in the past, you can reach out to them and get their perspective. If they feel the same you can apologise and try to make right any lasting damage you caused.
OK I’ll give you a translation of the bullshit bingo:
Peak enshittification
They elect a new one.
While it’s certainly facetious and a bunch of bullshit bingo, it does actually describe what I do, albeit in management speak.
I reengineer business processes based on best practices and state of the art technologies and methods.
The death of affordable computing in America.
Sure Elon. Here, have another hit of ketamine.
Using a machine like this just as a NAS is a bit of waste. It’s a full blown PC that would work very nicely as a home server for Jellyfin etc. The RAM will limit the utility, though.
The solution is to learn a new language. Then, whatever accent you have in that new language, that is your first language. I’ve noticed this with Canadians a few times. They’d speak English like you’d never think it was anything but their first language, but when they spoke German, they had a French accent.
Yeah, I think the biggest obstacle to wider adoption of Linux is the lack of availability of devices that come with it installed. As long as you can’t buy a Linux PC at Best Buy & co, it will always be somewhat niche. Pretty much anyone can use Linux these days but installing it is just too much of a hassle for the average user.
Git gud n00b!
/s, of course.
I’ve come across this kind of response a few times on here and elsewhere, but I think it’s nowhere near as prevalent as it’s sometimes made out to be.
Wow. Just wow. What a bunch of utter darlings. Just let them stew in their own idiocy.
Edit: To clarify, I mean the people who wrote this readme.
Mint is the distro for people like you and me. Minimal hassle, just works. No need to muck around with it.
Yeah that’s just so dumb. Also, i wouldn’t be comfortable with the OS on eMMC storage. That’s hardly known for reliability. So close and yet so far.
These fuckers are just so delusional and out of touch with reality. Personalized ads my ass. We’ve been promised those for decades but pretty much all the ads I see on YouTube are from major retail chains with precisely zero relevance to me. They will show the ads of whoever pays for them. Your personal preferences are only relevant when it comes to targeting you with political propaganda.
