I was looking for this comment! I swear it’s quite useful and not just feeding my self-hosting habit!
There would need to be a legal complaint for a regulatory body correct? A legal complaint was never made.
with all these allegations it made sense to me to not give my viewership until everything is cleared, and it seems we are still far from it?
I mean, it’s hard to proof a negative.
You ought to follow your conscience, but I haven’t found her to be a reliable narrator personally. The results of the investigation were enough for me, at least without further evidence to the contrary.
In summary, as confirmed by the investigation, the allegations made against the team were largely unfounded, misleading, and unfair.
Or more specifically the investigation found that:
Claims of bullying and harassment were not substantiated.
Allegations that sexual harassment were ignored or not addressed were false.
Any concerns that were raised were investigated. Furthermore, from reviewing our history, the investigator is confident that if any other concerns had been raised, we would have investigated them.
There was no evidence of “abuse of power” or retaliation. The individual involved may not have agreed with our decisions or performance feedback, but our actions were for legitimate work-related purposes, and our business reasons were valid.
Allegations of process errors and miscommunication while onboarding this individual were partially substantiated, but the investigator found ample documentary evidence of LMG working to rectify the errors and the individual being treated generously and respectfully. When they had questions, they were responded to and addressed.
Instead of saying anything about this when they discovered it, lmg just quietly dropped them from sponsorship a change from their usual trend of calling out the company (theyve done it before with other sponsors).
If by other sponsors you mean Eufy, which happened well after They dropped Honey, then yes that was handled differently. Their logic was that Eufy’s (still-ongoing) security issues directly affected consumers, whereas all LMG knew about was Honey hijacking affiliate revenue trackers.
Source on what LMG as a company knew:
We ended the partnership with Honey due to the way their service interacted with affiliate links. Essentially, if someone clicked on a affiliate link (For example, one of ours below in the video description on YouTube), and then if they “use honey” and search for a deal, Honey will override that tracking links even if they don’t find you a deal.

That was later found to be unsubstantiated by a third party lawfirm hired to investigate the matter…
More specifically, a fan posted a video during a tour and an (ex) LMG employee started talking about ways he felt like his department (labs) was doing things better than other channels like GamersNexus.
Not what he said.
His words about the Gail Slater nomination specifically were.
Great pick by @realDonaldTrump. 10 years ago, Republicans were the party of big business and Dems stood for the little guys, but today the tables have completely turned. People forget that the current antitrust actions against Big Tech were started under the first Trump admin.
I disagree with Yen here, but characterizing that statement as “republicans are the right choice for their policies and democrats are not,” seems like a real stretch.
Ok, but that is explicitly not the person or position Andy commented on.
Despite what TikTok might claim, I’m fairly certain they’ve never actually turned a profit. Data collection, and influencing the American was always the point.
This is also a lie. He did not promote the Republican Party. Words mean something, quit making shit up.
Not even a little in this situation. Maybe take your head out of your ass and stop spreading lies. He literally addressed this head on.

This is the reason I believe every health insurance plan should also include life insurance from the same company. You need to give those assholes an incentive to keep me alive and healthy.
Come back when you actually know something instead of vaguely gesturing at possibilities. My argument and sources were clear. I spent too much time digging already, and forgive me if I don’t want to spend even more time researching every suggestion for your 9 day old Lemmy account.
There is an obvious cultural connection between different Arabic Islamic extremist groups in the Middle East. Yes there will be cultural differences, and differences in dialect, but the meaning of this word isn’t one of them.
After that link I literally added redacted screenshots of a primary source that was published by ISIS
It does not matter what the publisher of the document in the first link thinks about Zionism. I don’t know and I don’t care.
Because the hostage families decided to release recovered footage to put additional pressure on getting them released.
Also, because I went down the rabbit hole trying to find info on this stuff, I think I’ll share additional evidence I gathered. Specifically that sabaya (or saby for short) has been used in the context of ISIS taking female slaves (often for sex).

This article from November of last year would dispute your claim.
A group of young girls; صبايا
With the letter; Sad / ص
e.g. “girls / 9abaya” went out for a walk.
This word is not a conversation here, just for clarification. — A group of women/girls of war’s loot — (sex slaves); سبايا
With the letter; S/س
Sabaya سبايا which are literally the war’s loot of girls/women, and according to Islam is Halal.
The word “Sabaya” unequivocally means “women captives at war for sex”.
